FORGE¢ç NxT addressing superplastic forming
Super plastic forming consists in forming in a specific range process parameters (temperature close to half of the fusion temperature, very low strain rate, fine and homogeneous microstructure). FORGE NxT addresses regular superplastic forming but also superplastic forming with diffusion bonding.

FORGE¢ç NxT is used to predict:

  • the geometry of the component,
  • the thickness and detection of possible local necking,
  • folds/laps
  • the optimal pressure cycle to maintain superplastic forming
